Durdle Door, where it all started.
I don't think there's one part of this beach I haven't slept on (passed out on)
The huge archway was home to Mike and Josh's cliff diving,
they invented tomb stoning and are still alive to tell the tell.

Swimming through the archway and turning left, it is possible to swim around to the other beach.
on the way there, is a cave filled with water that has a blow hole with a hidden underwater cave system.
at low tide it is possible to go in as they have air pockets.

This is Skull Rock at high tide.
at low tide you can see the eyes of the rock and walk to it, which is where one day we walked to with a few crates of Stella.
by the time we finished our beers it was nearly high tide. then realized we would have to swim back to shore fully clothed with our weeks worth of stuff in our ruck sacks,
 or drown.
(or swim the 5 metres back to shore)

I finally managed to talk the lads into going somewhere else other than Durdle Door.
Bude in Cornwall was our second  adventure destination.
This is Widemouth bay in Bube.
We found a family camp site that allowed all male party's with all the things Durdle Door camp site didn't have,
 like running water.

The first year it was quiet, we spent the evenings ether having BBQs on the beach, or laying in a field getting wasted, then rolling hay stacks down the hill into the farmers fence, hidden down the bottom of a very long dark hill.

Then on the last night, out of our tent window, we noticed laser lights coming from the local family restaurant.
It turned out in less than a mile was the best nightclub I have ever been to.
The one and only Widemouth manor !
This is where I spent my Stag Do some years later

Where I spend most of my time like this, until a nice police man cut me free.

I got this picture from the Manors website years ago
where they lovingly showed everyone for years to come.
I need to point out at this stage the Manor is not like that any more.
the landlord lost the place , something to do with all night raves with top London DJs I think.

The main thing we learned from the Manor was never eat the cheap pastes when you leave.
after a night on the beer is NOT the time to enjoy Cornwall's artistic food
